The Metaid is a unique identifier used to link an influencer’s multiple social media accounts (Instagram, TikTok, etc.) into a single, unified profile within your exports.

Who this is for
This guide is for users who export data from the Monitoring Dashboard to perform custom analysis in tools like Excel, Google Sheets, or BI platforms.

How it Works
In the influencer marketing world, one creator often has many handles.

The Metaid serves as the "source of truth" to help you identify that "User A" on Instagram is the same person as "User A" on TikTok.

  • Cross-Platform Mapping: Use this ID as your primary key when merging datasets from different social networks to avoid duplicating the same influencer.

  • The "Strongest Network" Logic: The ID is generated based on the influencer’s primary or most impactful social network. It is not determined by the platform where they were first discovered.

  • Internal Naming Note: While the field is labeled Metaid, it is an internal Lefty identifier and is not related to Meta (Facebook).

FAQ

  • Is the Metaid the same as a Social Media ID? Not necessarily. While it may be derived from a social ID, it functions as a unique Lefty identifier for internal database management.

  • Why is it called Metaid? It is a legacy internal term used to describe "metadata" grouping. It has no connection to the company Meta (Facebook).

  • Should I use this for VLOOKUPs? Yes. This is the most reliable field to use when trying to aggregate data for a single influencer across multiple reports.
