The Lefty Chrome Extension is a browser plugin for Google Chrome that lets you manually trigger story collection for one or more influencers on Instagram. Use it when you need up-to-date story content before the 24-hour automatic refresh cycle runs.
When to use it: Use the Chrome extension when a campaign requires the latest influencer stories immediately — for example, before a reporting deadline or when an influencer has just posted new stories you want tracked in Lefty.
Supported platform: Instagram only. The extension lets you collect stories from any Instagram influencer profile while you are logged into Lefty.
How to install and use the Lefty Chrome Extension
Step 1: Download the Lefty Chrome extension from the Chrome Web Store.
Step 2:
Make sure you are logged into Lefty, then open a new tab and go to the Instagram profile of the influencer you want to collect stories for.
Click the "Collect stories" button in the Chrome extension bar. This immediately sends all current stories from that influencer's Instagram profile to their Lefty profile and any associated campaigns.
