Lefty is able to automatically merge associated social accounts of influencers ONLY when certain criteria are met. The process relies on available data, such as:

  • Linked accounts in bios: If an influencer includes links to their other social profiles in their bio, our system uses this data to establish a connection.

  • Identical usernames: Matching usernames across platforms help identify accounts that belong to the same influencer.

Whenever a new profile is added to Lefty, our system scans for these indicators to merge accounts. For profiles already in our database, periodic checks are run by our system every few months to identify new or updated accounts.

Processing Requests to Merge & Unmerge Social Accounts

If you’re working with an influencer whose additional social accounts are not currently associated with their main account in Lefty, you can now request to have these accounts merged directly within the platform. Similarly, if you discover that a social account linked to an influencer’s profile shouldn’t be associated, you can request to have it unmerged. For detailed instructions on how to submit these requests, refer to this article.
