Every influencer in your Directory has one of six Stripe statuses. They follow the order in which an influencer sets up their Stripe account:
Stripe status | What it means | What to do |
Not invited | The influencer doesn't have a Stripe account yet. | When you pay them, Lefty lets you email them a secure, time-limited link to set up their account with Stripe. |
Invited | An invitation to create a Stripe account was sent to the influencer. Hover the status to see when. | Wait for the influencer to finish their setup, or follow up with them. |
Missing documents | Stripe needs documents or details that are missing or invalid. Hover the status to see the list, for example Identity document, Proof of address, Tax information or Bank account. | Ask the influencer to complete these items with Stripe. They can follow Payments: Influencer Registration to Receive Payments. |
In review | Stripe is reviewing the influencer's documents. | No action is needed. |
Verified | The influencer's Stripe account is verified and ready to receive payments. | You can pay them. |
Rejected | Stripe has permanently rejected the influencer's account. Payments can't be made to this account. | The influencer needs to contact Stripe directly. Neither you nor Lefty can resolve this on their behalf. You can share Why Was My Stripe Account Rejected? with them. |
Where to see the Stripe status
In the influencer sidebar
Open an influencer's profile. The Payment information block, between Custom fields and Labels, shows two rows:
Stripe status: hover it to read what the status means and, for Missing documents, which items Stripe still needs.
Stripe email: the email address of the influencer's Stripe account, or "-" when there is none yet.
The block appears for influencers in your Directory, which includes everyone you have added to a campaign. For an influencer you have only found in Discover or in a casting, add them to your Directory first.
As columns in influencer lists
In a campaign's influencer list and in Directory > Influencers, open the column picker of the table and tick Stripe status and Stripe email under Payment information. Both columns stay hidden until you add them, and they can't be sorted.
As filters in influencer lists
In the same two lists, click Add filter and pick a field under Payment information:
Stripe status: select one or more statuses.
Stripe email: contains, does not contain, is empty, or is not empty.
Tip: before paying a campaign's influencers, filter them on Stripe status Not invited, Invited and Missing documents to see who still has setup to finish.
Finding payments by Stripe email
On the Payments page, the Stripe email filter sits right after Influencer. Select one or more emails to list every payment linked to them. If some payments have no linked Stripe email, a "-" option lists those.
Several influencers can share one Stripe email, for example when an agency manages their payouts, so this filter can return payments to more than one influencer. More on the Payments page in Payments: Payment Receipts & History.
Who can see it
Every member of the workspace can see Stripe status and Stripe email in the sidebar, the columns and the filters, including members without the Payments permission. Making a payment still requires it. See Understanding Workspace Roles and Permissions.
