Get paid: Connect your Stripe payout details

When a brand is ready to pay you, Lefty will send you an email asking you to add your payout details through Stripe. You’ll have two ways to complete it.

Before you start

  • Use the email link on the same device/browser where you want to finish setup.

  • Have your banking details ready (or the details Stripe needs for your country).

Option 1: Continue with Lefty (login/signup + Stripe)

Choose this if you want to manage your collaborations and payouts through a Lefty account.

Steps

  1. Open the email from Lefty.

  2. Click Continue with Lefty.

  3. Log in to your Lefty account (or create one).

  4. Follow the prompts to connect your Stripe account.

  5. Complete the Stripe steps (this may include payout and verification info).

  6. You’ll see a confirmation when your payout details are connected.

Option 2: Use Stripe only (no Lefty account required)

Choose this if you want the fastest setup and don’t want to create a Lefty account.

Steps

  1. Open the email from Lefty.

  2. Click Use Stripe only.

  3. You’ll be redirected directly to Stripe.

  4. Enter/confirm your payout details and complete Stripe onboarding (if asked).

  5. You’ll see a confirmation when your payout details are connected.

✅ With Stripe only, you can connect payout details without logging in or signing up for Lefty.

Important notes

An agent/manager can complete this in some cases

The email may be sent to you or to someone representing you (like an agent/manager). Whoever receives the email can complete the Stripe setup as long as the Stripe account they connect is the correct one for your payouts.

Best practice: Only allow a representative to do this if they manage payouts for you and you trust them to use the right payout account.

One Stripe account can be used for multiple creators

A single Stripe account can be connected to more than one creator.

This can be helpful for teams/management, but make sure the connected Stripe account is the one that should receive your payments.
