1. Store Types
Products in Lefty are attached to a Store. There are two types of stores:
Offline Stores
These live only within Lefty
They do not sync with external platforms
They are used strictly for record-keeping
Connected Stores
These sync directly with Shopify or Salesforce Commerce Cloud
Creating a shipment from a connected store can automatically create an order in your e-commerce system
2. Adding Inventory to Offline Stores
There are two methods to add products to an offline store:
Manual Entry
You add products one by one. You must provide:
Details: Name, description, and image
Variants: Attributes such as size, color, material, or scent
Quantities: Available stock and price for each specific variant
XLS / CSV Import
You can add multiple products at once
Fill out Lefty’s specific inventory template
Upload the completed file directly to the platform
3. Adding Inventory from Connected Stores
If you have integrated Shopify or Salesforce Commerce Cloud, the process is automated:
Select the connected store you wish to import from
Lefty displays all products and quantities currently available in your e-commerce platform
Select the specific products you want to make available for gifting within Lefty
