When setting up tracking filters in a campaign, Lefty suggests previously used keywords, hashtags, and mentions to help you work faster and avoid repetition.
What are keyword, hashtag & mention suggestions?
As you type in the keyword, hashtag, or mention fields of a campaign, Lefty displays a dropdown of values you have used in previous campaigns within your workspace. Suggestions are sorted by usage frequency, the values you have used most often appear at the top.
Suggestions are scoped per network: values used for Instagram will not appear when setting up filters for another network. They are also scoped per field type: only hashtags appear in the hashtag field, only mentions in the mention field, and so on.
If no matching values exist from your past campaigns, no dropdown will appear for that field.
Important: The location field is not affected, no suggestions are shown there.
How to use suggestions when setting up a campaign
Open a campaign and go to the tracking filter settings.
Click on the Keywords, Hashtags, or Mentions field.
A dropdown appears showing your most frequently used values. Start typing to filter suggestions by the characters you enter.
Click a suggestion or press Enter to add it to the field.
Repeat for each field and network as needed.
Expected result: The selected value is added to the field. You can continue typing or selecting additional suggestions.
Removing or changing a suggestion selection
Suggestions are a shortcut for filling in fields, you can remove or edit any value after selecting it, just as you would with manually entered values. Suggestions are always drawn from your full workspace history and are not affected by changes made within individual campaigns.
Known limitations
Suggestions are workspace-specific. Values used in other workspaces are not shown.
Suggestions are per network and per field type, hashtags used for Instagram will not appear when working on TikTok, and mentions will not appear in the keyword field.
The location field does not support suggestions.
Troubleshooting
No suggestions are appearing when I click a field.
Suggestions only appear if keywords, hashtags, or mentions have been used in previous campaigns within your workspace for that specific network. If this is your first campaign, or no values have been used for the selected network, no dropdown will appear.
I see suggestions from the wrong network.
Suggestions are scoped per network. Make sure you are looking at the correct network tab in your campaign settings, switching networks will reload suggestions specific to that network.
A value I used before is not appearing in suggestions.
Suggestions are based on values used in live, archived, and past campaigns in your workspace. If the value was entered in a different workspace, it will not appear.
