Your workspace has a single credit pool. BrandScanner AI, Brand Safety Analysis and Sentiment Analysis all draw from the same balance, each at a fixed cost per unit: per image scanned, per influencer analysed or per campaign analysed.
See Credit-powered features and their cost for what each feature charges.
Where credits come from
Credits come from two sources:
Allowance: the credits included in your plan. When your allowance renews on a schedule, it resets at the start of each billing period.
Credit packs: optional top-ups on top of your plan. Each pack has an expiry date.
Your allowance is used first. Once it is exhausted, credit packs are drawn from automatically, starting with the pack that expires first. A single action can use both: the allowance covers what it can and packs cover the rest.
A workspace can run on packs only, or combine packs with an allowance. On an unlimited plan, credits never run out.
What happens to unused credits
Allowance: unused allowance does not roll over. It resets at the start of each billing period, and whatever was left is lost.
Allowance that does not renew: no reset date is shown, and what is left stays available until you use it.
Credit packs: the reset does not affect them. Pack credits carry over until the pack's expiry date, then they are removed.
Because the allowance is used first, pack credits are only used once the allowance for the period is exhausted.
Finding your credits
Go to Settings, then Billing. Credits appear on two tabs.
Subscription: the Credits line shows credits used out of your total, for example 250/500 used, followed by the reset date when your allowance renews on a schedule. It reads Unlimited on an unlimited plan and Not included when your plan has no credits.
Credits, Current credits: a bar showing how many credits each feature has used and how many remain, with the totals above it. When your allowance renews on a schedule, the subtitle reads Until reset on followed by the date.
Credits, Consumption history: each use of a credit-powered feature, with the feature, the credits used, who activated it and the date. Actions Lefty triggers automatically show Automatic in place of a name. You can sort the table by date.
A warning icon appears next to the remaining credits when you are running low, and an error icon when your credits run out. Hover the icon for details.
Instead of a chart, the Credits tab can show one of these messages:
Message | What it means |
Unlimited | Your plan includes unlimited credits, so there is nothing to track. |
Not included in trial plan. | Credits are not part of a trial plan. |
No credit available. | Your allowance stopped renewing more than a month ago and no credits are left. |
No data available | There is no credit activity to show yet. |
Before you run an export
Brand Safety Analysis and Sentiment Analysis exports use credits, so a confirmation window shows the impact before anything runs. It lists the Credits needed for this export, your Current credits, the Export cost and the Remaining credits after the export. For a bulk Brand Safety export, the cost is the cost per influencer multiplied by the number of influencers selected.
Credits limit nearly reached: the export would leave only a small share of your balance. You can still continue with Generate export.
Not enough credits: your balance cannot cover the export. Generate export is disabled and nothing is charged.
Increase capacity opens a conversation with us. If your workspace has unlimited credits, the confirmation window does not appear.
BrandScanner AI does not ask for confirmation. It scans automatically and uses credits as images are scanned. See BrandScanner AI for what your campaign shows when credits run out.
Credit alerts
Lefty sends email alerts when your credits are running low and when they run out. Turn credit alerts on or off in Notifications. See Managing your email notification settings.
Adding credits
To increase your allowance or add credit packs, use Increase capacity or contact your Account Manager.
